Art Rental: All artwork at PRIME is available for rental. See terms below.
Art Consulting services are provided by our director for your business or home. Please call or email for an appointment.
HISTORY:
Established in 1979, PRIME Gallery continues 30 years on as Canada’s premier gallery specializing in fine and decorative contemporary art. Amongst our roster of artists are many award winners, including two recent winners of the Governor General’s Visual Arts Awards (2002, 2007), Le Prix Saidye-Bronfman as well as many other arts award, members of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, and recipients of the Order of Canada. PRIME also hosts work by artists from the United States, Europe and elsewhere. We participate in Nuit Blanche and are engaged as curatorial advisor to Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington.
Our clients include many prestigious institutions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, England; the George R. Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art, Toronto; The Winnipeg Art Gallery; The Museum of Civilization, Ottawa; numerous consulates around the world as well as renowned corporate and private collectors in Canada, the USA, and abroad.
PRIME’s staff bring 30 years of experience to every task we face in presenting some of the most unique artworks worldwide. We work with private and corporate clients, art consultants, interior designers and architects on a wide range of projects involving the selection, installation, presentation, management and commissioning of works of art.
PRIME Gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC).

ART RENTAL TERMS:
All artwork at PRIME Gallery is available for rental (subject to approval). We offer painting, sculpture, ceramics, drawings and mixed media, as well as photography and printed matter of various sizes.
International art is also available for rent.
Rental terms are as follows. The rental fee is 10% of the purchase price per month.
•PST and GST are in addition to the rental fees.
•Art that has been rented may be purchased at any time during the rental period, and up to 3 months of previously billed rental payments may be deducted from the listed price at time of purchase.
•Employees wishing to buy artwork rented by their business or company may deduct those payments from the purchase price.
•Flexible payment schedules can be arranged without service charges.
•Art rental expenses and art purchases are tax deductible expenses for business owners.
